This motive of abstract Christian art entitled “Flip of Love”, translated as “vortex of love”, is one of a series of three images in gold with the Christian biblical themes: Faith – Hope – Love. The images are symbols of the three cardinal virtues of Christians,
which are also referred to as the divine virtues. “But now faith, hope, love, these three remain; but love is the greatest among them,” writes Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:13.
The picture is painted with real gold on handmade paper. It shows a vortex, similar to a representation of a single movement with many flips and twists, ending in a heart. The image “Love” is an expression of joy, exuberant life and complete surrender to a feeling that is so overwhelming, like a dance of joy.
Even though the lines show ecstasy, they end in a heart, which can also be seen as a symbol of control, stability and durability.
Meaning painting gold: love
In skater jargon, “flip” refers to a movement category of tricks in which the skater rotates the board around one or more axes.

The flip or swirl is hand painted with real gold on handmade paper. The digital element is the font printed with traditional black printer ink. The approximately A4 sized image appears lively, happy and carefree. It fits in the living room, in the bedroom, but also in an office or home office.

I create the pictures by hand using mixed media on finest handmade paper. Handmade paper is slightly cream-colored and has irregular edges, which give the picture an additional elegant touch. For this reason, the size of the images may vary by a few centimeters.
The overlay consists of genuine 23 carat double ducat gold leaf from the Austrian Mint. Our era is reflected in the digital elements, which is why the characters are printed with conventional printer ink in a very complicated process. Every picture is unique.
My specially developed techniques allow the creation of similar, but never identical, works. You are holding a truly unique piece in your hand. I sign the sheets by hand on the back (pencil, initialed: WR for Wonnereich, year). A certificate card with information about the materials is included.

Working time duration
It usually takes 2 to 3 working days from receipt of the payment confirmation to dispatch. In some cases, delivery of limited editions may be delayed by a few more days. In this case I will notify you immediately.
